I previously worked as an English teacher at a well-known chain language institute. I majored in Art and Cultural & Creative Industries in college and did not come from a traditional English major background. However, through long-term exposure, real usage, and extensive input, I gradually developed fluent and natural English ability. Like many Taiwanese students, I attended cram school throughout elementary school, but my English level remained at beginner level (A–Z). After entering junior high school, I stopped attending cram schools. Why did I want to truly learn English? At first, English felt like something learned only for exams. Later, I realized how amazing it would be to travel the world, and English became a lifelong companion and tool. At a time when resources were limited, I spent hours every day watching YouTube, American TV series, and listening to English songs while looking up vocabulary. After traveling abroad, I made many foreign friends, engaged in cultural exchange, and eventually became an English teacher. I truly love teaching English.
