Want to make progress in English, but struggling to find your favorite learning resources? 😕 Desire to communicate in English, but have trouble putting your thoughts into words? 💦 I have encountered these problems, and I hope to help you too! 📍My experience: * Currently live in Canada, Montreal * Holder of a bachelor's degree in French literature & Volunteer in France & Exchange student in cinema studies of the University of Montreal in Canada * Full-time online language tutor & translator * Responsible, compassionate & creative thinking * Passion for teaching and a willing heart to spend time helping each student achieve one's highest potential * Two language learning experiences: Immersive learning: As a lover of YouTube, American TV series and English songs, I create myself an English immersion environment, which helps me expand my vocabulary and thus enables me to speak like a native Systematic learning: Intensive learning in the French literature department and essays on film analysis during my exchange help me enhance my French enormously 📍 Course Features: 💡 English immersion environment: 1. learn the most authentic English through YouTube videos, local news articles, etc. 2. English immersion or bilingual teaching (based on the student's level) 💡 Balanced input and output: Listening and reading (input) is as important as speaking and writing (output). While doing both input and output practices in each class, you'll be able to improve the effectiveness of language learning. 💡 Interests & Practical Orientation: It’s important to choose the topics you like so that you’ll have the motivation to do this in the long run. (If you are unsure about what you like, don't worry, I will provide interesting topics to help you learn more about yourself while learning English!) 📍 Course content: 1. Input: According to the students' interests, I will share related videos or articles, and explain the context, vocabulary, and grammar step by step. 2. Output: We will have discussions around the same topic so that you can use the words you’ve just learned right away. When we share what we are passionate about, we would be more driven to express ourselves. During the discussion, you don’t have to worry about making mistakes or taking notes, I’ll send you a list of vocabulary after class. 3. Extra activities: (1) Learning English with songs: An enjoyable and effective way to memorize vocabulary in the long term. (2) Game: Another good way to motivate speaking, as games sometimes create a stronger motif than chatting (3) Suggestions for language learning and motivational words: Believe it or not, a lot of times it's not a matter of language level, it's our fear that blocks us! Thus, I'll provide my own tips on how to overcome the psychological barriers and how to extend the conversation. 📍 Teaching philosophy: I believe that language learning could be exciting, it's not about studying it as a subject, but using the language to cultivate personal interests. It's not about cramming more vocabulary words and grammar the merrier, but being able to express oneself and connect with others. My goal is to deliver to students this excitement in language learning!
